One of our vendors, Darkstone Aeon, came up with the idea to do a Man Hunt to honor all our dads on fathers day . He also made the nice poster for this hunt.

Of course all gifts for this hunt can only be for men or unisex.

We hope for lots of vendors in this hunt to give all the men in SL the best hunt there is.

Every year MelNaKa Events picks a movie that comes out in November, as a theme for the hunt.This year the Disney film ‘Frozen’ is going to be the inspiration for our upcoming hunt.

Frozen is an animation film about a kingdom that has been cursed with a never ending winter. In the hope to end this curse a girl named Anna and rugged mountain man Kristoff with his loyal reindeer Sven are starting a journey to find the ice snow queen. On their way they have to deal with extreme temperatures, evil magic and they meet the weirdest creatures like mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf.

In August we are planning a picnic. We are inviting you vendors to join and present a gift that shows off your idea of a picnic.

Do you builders for instance prefer to use a picnic bench at the park or spread out your blanket nearby the lake. And designers, what are you going to wear. Is it going to be a nice dress or hat for the high tea picnic or bathing clothes to join a picnic at the beach ?

In May it is springtime in most parts of the world. New born animals are greeting the world and trees are blossoming. Warmth by the sun colorful flowers are growing and the first butterflies are dancing in the sky. And let’s not forget the colorful sunsets this time of year and the fact that we can show off our clothing again because the temperature is rising and we can take off our winter jackets.

“Mon Amour” is French for “My Love”. Words that are very suitable on the 14th of February, Valentine’s day.
So a gift having something to do with love is an idea for the Mon Amour Hunt, which will run the month of February.

If you are not into Valentine’s Day at all, thinking of France might give you a nice idea for a gift as well. With the Eiffel Tower, Disneyland Paris, architectural buildings like the Notre-Dame, the colors of the flag red/white/blue, and the nice food and wines………………there is plenty inspiration to be creative.
